Pre-event Roles & Responsibilities
We would also like to invite you to be a part of the ASICS Event Expo. Not only do we require volunteers on event day, we also need volunteers for pre-event shifts to assist at the ASICS Event Expo from 18-21 September where all participants collect their event kit.
The ASICS Event Expo will be located in Lower Town Hall, George Street, Sydney. The Expo will be open from Wednesday 18 September till Saturday 21 September. Each participant must attend the ASICS Event Expo to collect their race kit. As a volunteer, you will be able to work from 1 to 9 shifts in the days leading up to the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival.

Volunteer Roles:
- Information Guide
You will be the welcoming face of the ASICS Event Expo, directing participants to key areas; race kit collection, info desk, expo exhibits, race entry etc. You will need to check that participants have an E-Ticket, SMS and/or know their race number. - Race Pack Distributor
You will liaise directly with the participants, each runner should arrive at the registration desk with an E-ticket or SMS which contains their bib number. Race bibs will be collated in alpha-numeric order in boxes behind the counter which you will have to locate. You also provide participant with a sponsor goody bag specific to their event. - Help Desk Advisor
You will assist participants with any enquiries they may have. An Information Pack will be provided to help assist you to answer the enquiries.
