The Blackmores Sydney Marathon will be hosting the 2015 NSW Marathon Championships in conjunction with Athletics NSW. A summary of the Championship rules are below. To view the winter running rules in the 2015 NSW Winter Handbook click here. 
Entry is online via the Sydney Running Festival website. Click here to enter. Athletes wishing to be considered for placing in the NSW Marathon Championships must select this option when completing the online registration. You will be asked to provide your club and competition number (bib number). NSW members who do not provide this information will not be considered for placing in the NSW Marathon Championships.
All runners contesting the NSW Marathon Championships are to be registered with Athletics NSW for the 2014-15 season.
The NSW Marathon Championships will be offered in the Open division only. A junior athlete (turning 19 years or younger in the calendar year) is not eligible to compete in the NSW Marathon Championships.
All athletes contesting the NSW Marathon Championship must wear their club uniform with their competition bib on the back. A race bib will be provided on the day to be worn on the front.
A team will consist of 3 athletes for the NSW Marathon Championships. One female athlete may be included to make up a shortfall in a male team, however, they must not replace available men. Team results will be calculated by the cumulative total of finishing positions of all athletes comprising the team, where the team with the lowest cumulative total of finishing positions winning the team event.
First, second and third individual placegetters shall receive an ANSW medal on the day. Team results for NSW Marathon Championships will be produced and published on the results page of the Athletics NSW website in the week following the Championship. Team medals will be distributed to clubs for presentation to winning athletes.
The Athletics NSW MyTAG cannot be used for the NSW Marathon Championships.
