Extensive road closures will be in place for the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival on Sunday 18 September, between 4.00am and 1.30pm for the event that takes participants over the Sydney Harbour Bridge and finish at the Opera House.
The Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Cahill Expressway will be closed from 4am until 11am. The Sydney Harbour Tunnel will remain open. Motorists are advised to stay away from the CBD, Darlinghurst, Moore Park and Pyrmont areas on Sunday morning. If you do have to travel on Sunday morning, give yourself plenty of extra time and expect to be delayed on the alternative routes.
