The competition plans for Australia’s best runners may today become a little clearer, with Athletics Australia confirming the dates and locations of a series of road running championships for 2015.
Set to launch with the 2015 Australian Road Running Championships on Saturday 2 May, the calendar also confirms Sunday 20 September and Sunday 11 October as the dates of the 2015 Australian Marathon Championships and the 2015 Australian Half Marathon Championships respectively.

The Blackmores Sydney Marathon has recently been awarded the IAAF Marathon Silver Label and in 2015 we expect to be recognised as an IAAF Marathon Gold Label event, thus providing Australian marathon runners the opportunity of competing against some of the best marathon runners in the world.
